The trial begins, with many high-ranking officers being called to testify. That night, several young officers--including Duchess Mulan--try to free Jol, leading to Mulan's death.

The trial continues, however it is interrupted when Bilbringi is attacked by Admiral Daala's forces, and simultaneously by a band of smugglers taking advantage of the situation to get revenge. The plot is foiled by the heroics of several officers--including Jol Allson.

Allson is given a pardon and reinstated to his former position. Several key officers are given promotions, including Nick Fel, who is made an Admiral.

Operation Desert Strike II
From memory crystals recovered during Operation Desert Strike, Rogue Squadron locates more Tollan refugees and launches a rescue. The refugees are rescued and the team escape in a captured Tel'tac.

Operation Frozen Horizon
Rogue Squadron returns to P7J-935 upon finding out that the Intel centre there has been rebuilt, hoping to find out who is now in control of Sobek's forces--however, the rebuilt Intel centre is being used as bait to lure Rogue Squadron into a trap. They avoid it and once again steal valuable intelligence--but not before being attacked by wampas.

Three new ships are added to the fleet--Muse, Saki and Repulsor and Rogue Squadron is tasked with destroying the pirates who attacked Ashleigh at Bilbringi

Pirate Pursuit
A trap is set along a suspected hyperspace route, pulling out a heavily armed convoy that nearly destroys Nirvana.
Hunter arrives in time to save them, yet some pirates escape onboard the Marauder Slasher, taking with them an escape pod containing Corry Vrecken, and two engineers.

Pirate Pursuit
Hunter and Muse follow the pirates into hyperspace, but Slasher is able to reach the planet while pirate forces in orbit distract the pursuers.
On the surface, Corry Vrecken is revealed as a Stargate engineer and put put to work in hidden caverns fixing a DHD under the supervision of a Ja'ffa named Kel'rac, who eventually agrees to help her escape.
Rogue Squadron attacks the planet, but it is well defended--Nick Fel is captured and barely escapes torture before New Republic forces storm the caverns.

Pirate Pursuit
Pirates manage to escape with Slasher, and Rogue Squadron pursues to an uncharted system. Local forces from the planet Adumar help then defeat the pirates.
Shortly afterwards, New Republic Intelligence arrives and takes control of the situation, shutting Rogue Squadron out.
