Standard Uniform

All non-civilian personnel wear standard New Republic day uniform. For officers, this consists of a blue shirt under either a functional, short-sleeved beige jumpsuit, or a more formal beige tunic and trousers, depending on rank and duties.

Enlisted personnel wear jumpsuits similar to the more functional officer's uniform, but with long sleeves and no shirt.

Dress uniform includes a sleeveless turtleneck body stocking under a white V-necked jacket fastens at about navel level and below. A broad red band runs along the left hem of the jacket, up over the shoulder and at an angle down the back, with a rank designation in gold on the band above the wearer's left breast. The jacket is fastened by a gray belt. Starfighter Command uses black body stocking, while Naval Command uses grey, and the Army uses a dark red.

The exact cut of uniform varies between species and sexes.

Battle Dress

Battle dress for ground forces consists of an armoured jacket and trousers, with a vest for various pieces of equipment, heavy duty boots and a tactical helmet. All are available in a range of colours and camouflage designed to suit any terrain.

Special missions may require advanced armour reminiscent of stormtrooper armour, worn over a one-piece combat suit designed for maximum insulation and movement.

Rogue Squadron's armour is modified with electromagnetic dispersal nets to dissipate zat blasts, although it can be overloaded by repeated blasts.
