Rogue Squadron is a message board based RPG community centered around the ongoing story of the New Republic's secret war in the Unknown Regions, 18 years after the Battle of Yavin.

After the discovery an ancient device known as a Stargate in Wild Space, which allowed instantaneous travel between a network of worlds in the Unknown Regions, the New Republic soon encountered ruthless and powerful enemies working alongside renegade Imperial forces. Forming an alliance with a remote planet called Earth, a special task force was dispatched to combat this new threat, kept secret from the general population, and even from much of the military.
