Biography: Pabus was born into a family of slum-dwellers on Corellia. His father and mother both worked in sweatshops, so money was always in short supply. During his early years, his family was barely able to sustain themselves with the burden of a child.
By the age of 11, Pabus was forced to take a job to help his family financially. He loathed the back breaking labor, but it instilled in him a strong sense of drive and work ethic.
During the Galactic Civil War, Pabus' family often stayed out of politics due to their status. Although they were highly discontent with the Empire's policies, they simply sought to survive during that time.
By the time Pabus was of military age, the Empire had been all but defeated by the New Republic. As a result Pabus had no qualms with joining the military, as he also saw enlisting as a means to escape poverty.
