[15:16] <Viper7> We're going back to Alpha Centauri. The goa'uld have begun digs in the area around the stargate, in the general vicinity of where the old statue used to be. The statue, still locked up in the research lab is believed to be what they are searching for. Our primary objective is to ascertain weather or not the statue that we brought back with us is their goal. Our secondary objectives are to eliminate the dig area and to attempt to find out why the goa'uld were looking for the statue to begin with.
[15:17] <Viper7> We will insert via high-altitude parachute drop since the goa'uld have gotten smart and put up a terrain following scanner to detect landing ships. Intel doesn't believe that it is sensitive enough to detect individual parachute landings. Once down we will rendezvous at the site of the destroyed goa'uld listening post, which has been abandoned permanently.
[15:17] <Viper7> Once the dig has been shut down, we will head back to Farpoint via the stargate.

[15:37] * Corry lets her knees flex as she hits, then rolls away from the chute.

[15:37] * Neo rips through the tree's, rolls down along the ground

[15:38] * Viper7 gets free and pulls down chute, rolling it up and stuffing it in some underbrush

[15:38] * Viper7 detaches backup chute and stuffs it in as well
[15:38] * Neo flips on NVG's and slings around his E-11, then releases his chute
[15:38] * Piquo shakes free of the chute and quickly and quietly makes for the rondezvous
[15:38] * Viper7 grabs E11 and pulls on his StarEyes goggles
[15:38] * Thorn hides the chute under a log
[15:39] * Jol_Allson rolls onto one knee as he lands, bringing up E-11 as he does
[15:39] * Corry hits the canopy release and gathers the fabric
[15:39] * Viper7 takes a bearing and heads off toward the rendezvous

[16:17] * Corry starts recording a large set of stone tablets lying on a table.
[16:17] <Viper7> <comms> take out as many as you can, means we have less to deal with when we leave
[16:18] * Thorn finishes with the second tent and races for the third
[16:18] <Jol_Allson> <comms> Vipe, they're got a Staff Weapon Emplacement Cannon

[16:18] * Corry parts the tent flap and heads for the fourth tent
[16:18] * Neo moves up towards the two Jaffa standing next to the gate, takes a quick shot to the left, and a quick shot to the right

[16:18] <Jol_Allson> <comms> possibly, tell Neo to kill anyone heading for the Stargate, it's behind the tent next to it
[16:19] * Corry falls back out of the tent opening as a blast from a staff weapon rips past her

[16:20] * Thorn pulls her sidearm and shoots the jaffa

[16:20] <Jol_Allson> <comms> Vipe, I'm withing 25 meters of the cannon, you want me to man it?
[16:20] * Viper7 notices a large body of jaffa moving slowly toward's jol's position behind the tents
[16:20] * Corry looks under the tent flap and then crawls inside

[16:21] * Corry sweeps everything off the nearest table into her bag
[16:21] * Neo cracks another shot and replaces the power pack

[16:22] * Jol_Allson sees the Jaffa and runs to the cannon, he swings it around while firing his E-11 to keep some of the Jaffa at bay before he powers up the cannon and sends shots at the Jaffa

[16:22] <Neo> <comms> take your time people, I can hold them off until I run out of power packs
[16:22] * Corry grabs crystals and exits the tent, stepping over the body of the Jaffa
[16:23] <Jol_Allson> <comms> Neo, try to pick off people heading for Thorn and Corry, I've got the ones by the gate
[16:23] * Viper7 whispers to nick "We can do nothing and they'll overtake him, or we can give him some cover"
[16:23] <Neo> <comms> I am having trouble seeing anything over there

[16:24] * Thorn grabs one last tablet and runs out the tent

[16:24] * Viper7 props up E11 at a 45 angle

[16:25] * Jol_Allson sees the minigrenade explode among the Jaffa
[16:25] * Neo slings the rifle back, pulls out his E-11. Stands up and runs into the clearing while firing
[16:25] * Viper7 grabs smoke grenade and tosses it out to give thorn and Corry cover
[16:25] * Nick_Fel fires
[16:25] * Thorn and corry head for the gate

[16:25] * Jol_Allson fires off a minigrenade with left hand

[16:25] * Neo dumps himself by the gate and slings out the rifle
[16:25] * Viper7 runs out into the smoke, firing at the jaffa from the hip

[16:26] * Neo is able to see more Jaffa and fires a few more shots

[16:26] * Jol_Allson slaps a Nergon 14 charge on the cannon and primes it for 15 second detonation

[16:28] * Corry moves to cover Thorn but grabs her when a Zat blast hits her

[16:28] * Viper7 dives down into a dig area and rolls, comming up facing the jaffa

[16:28] * Neo takes out another persuing Jaffa
[16:28] * Viper7 showers them with a hail of blaster bolts

[16:29] * Jol_Allson activates charge and runs over to help Thorn
[16:29] * Corry ducks as the fire gets too hot "Chevron 7 engaged"

[16:29] * Thorn levers herself up on one arm
[16:29] * Viper7 runs up a board and sprints the rest of the way to the DHD
[16:29] * Corry ducks again as the Event Horizon sweeps out
[16:29] * Neo looks back towards viper and takes another shot at a Jaffa
[16:30] * Jol_Allson grabs Thorn under the arms and pulls her away from the Event Horizon
[16:30] <Thorn> wow, Ive never been shot before...
[16:30] * Viper7 sends GDO code and prays it's accepted quickly
[16:30] <Corry> Somebody grab the other end of this thing!

[16:30] * Corry grins at Thorn "You're buying breakfast"
[16:30] * Thorn rolls her eyes and collapses in a heap
[16:31] * Jol_Allson half drags Thorn to the gate and pushes her through the wormhole before drawing his E-11 and fires at the Jaffa
[16:31] * Viper7 runs right past the dhd, grabbing thorn by the back of her harness and drags her up through the gate
[16:31] <Corry> Just throw her on top of Piquo and we'll drag them both through!

[16:31] * Viper7 is in gate travel, cant do anything now

[16:31] * Neo slings back the rifle and pulls out the E-11 again, blasting away at the oncoming Jaffa. Staff blasts hit the ground around the gate
