Biography: Durban was a centuries-old Ja'ffa master who had abandoned the service of the Goa'uld and become leader of the Warrens, a secret underground city on Shedyet. Despite remaining relatively sheltered in the Warrens, Durban grew tired of repeated threats brought to the planet, usually through Rogue Squadron's actions.
During the Triumvirate invasion, he captured a group of Rogue Squadron personnel, including Nick Fel, with the intention of using them as bargaining chips to secure his planet's freedom. After their escape, he eventually agreed to help them destroy the Triumvirate's jamming devices, the the condition that they be left alone afterwards.
