Description: 5' 4" tall, with long brown hair and hazel eyes. Relatively thin, with wide hips and a medium sized chest.
Biography: Nara was born and grew up on the planet Aridus, the child of two miners that worked on the planet under the Galactic Empire. When she was young, she interacted with the Imperial spacers and officers innocently, talking to them about her strongest interest: machines.
Most of them couldn't entertain her well but one spacer who stayed on Aridus for a few cycles intrigued her. He had worked as an engineer on a variety of different types of ships and spent his time on the planet teaching her about the ins and outs of the engine room and how to be an effective crewmember should the need ever arise. Before he left, he gave her a few pieces to tinker with: part of the engine of an old repulsorcraft he had owned which disassembled into 34 hard to fit pieces, a small toolbox with a few high quality tools and an old pocket watch, a relic from some past civilization.
On her sixteenth birthday, a large ship came into the planet and off came the engineer she had met and learned from eight years ago. He spent some time catching up with her before offering her a spot in the engine room of his ship. She spent a little time thinking about it, torn between staying with her parents and working for the spacer. Her parents encouraged her to go, though they were sad to lose her. The foreman would hear nothing of it though, and so late at night they snuck out to the ship, and left the planet without clearance.
