Biography: Minka Juhan was born on Cathar, a planet made up mostly of plains and light jungles. His father was the hunting master of the eastern plains, causing the younger of the Juhan litter to be forced into the battle scene.
At the age of five or six standard years, Minka's siblings were slaughtered by a frag grenade from an angry offworld hunter that had come to pay his father a visit. The trunk of the tree, where the cities are built into, was torn apart and all the Cathar inside were killed besides the young Minka Juhan. His natural healing abilities and less critical wound let him get by without a scar, at least physically.
After this event, Minka was raised by the city Elder, who raised him as more of a diplomat than a hunter like his father. It was in these next five years that he learned to speak galactic basic, and how to speak with officials from the New Republic.
In his teens, Minka had left the Elder to live on his own. His skill set had then included Galactic presence and an amazing sense for battle due to his young entrance into the hunt. Without a living family member, Minka felt it was time to take advantage of his unique position, and ascended from the isolated, warrior culture of the Cathar.
Upon enlisting into the New Republic, he was first seeking a diplomatic post. Due to his lack of larger scale experience, they offered him a post at his home planet. Minka was disturbed, he did not want to be stuck back at home. This is when the opportunity to join the New Republic Army opened up. He jumped at the chance, and his natural healing abilities, alongside his close-combat mastery, made him an easy pick for the classified Rogue Squadron assignment.
Minka quickly found a home among the Red Squad in the Alpha Company, where he has already had a couple intense battles.
