Description: A few years younger than Blaine, with their mother's brown hair and her father's grey eyes, Lyn is also a head shorter than her older brother. Athletic, but more as a consequence of work than a training regimen. Often looks like she just crawled out of a ship's innards, which she probably did.
Biography: Lyn Averre was too young to feel the loss of her and Blaine's father at Hoth, being little more than an infant at the time. While her older brother was set on the military practically from the day they got the news, Lyn grew up loving Dahvil and the spaceport near their home, quickly gaining an affinity for mechanics. But as much as she loved tinkering on ships, and as much as she cared for Dahvil and their mother, Lyn eventually began looking to the horizon.
Blaine's holos home were frequent, but despite his efforts to keep his family in the dark Lyn was sharp enough to guess that her older brother had gotten himself assigned somewhere very dangerous, and that it often wore on him. When he returned home for leave after the Kathar affair, she knew that to be true, but she also saw how proud he was of the good he'd done. As a result, and quite contrary to Blaine's thoughts on the matter, Lyn began considering putting her own considerable talents to use for something greater than keeping freighters in the sky.
It took a few years and a few arguments, but Lyn eventually enlisted without her mother or Blaine knowing it, hoping to get forgiveness rather than permission. The deed was done, however, and Lyn had scored high enough to request her posting: wherever her brother was.
