Description: A short, prematurely balding man, Well built, with a prosthetic lower left arm, left skinless.

Biography: Furst was given temporary command of Muse for it's voyage to Farpoint from New Republic space. He was promoted and made First Officer of the ship on arrival. During the second Battle of Rhelinor, He lost the lower powrtion of his left arm when Muse was attacked by a bomb.

When Jol Allson was transferred onto Kinesis, he became Captain of Muse. He survived the destruction of the ship over U1977, and went on to command Republica.

When the ship was destroyed by planted debris during the Battle of Kalaxh, the entire crew was killed.
