Biography: Tao has dedicated his work to finding cures for diseases that are not treated by Bacta. This search led him to the Unknown Regions, where he was able to join Rogue Squadron as a civilian researcher. Farpoint Station is ideally located near several habitable planets with wide varieties of plant life for the Ithorian to investigate. Although limited at the moment by security procedures, Tao still has access to several more planets via the Stargate.
