Biography: Born in the Midwest United States, Matt led a simple civilian life. As he grew up he joined the US Army, where he received admiration for his actions overseas. It wasn't long before he was approached about a special assignment with Stargate Command.
Here he got his taste of inter-planetary travel and fighting aliens. After a few uneventful months of guard duty and peaceful missions, he accepted a place with the new allies in Rogue Squadron.
It didn't take long to find himself in his new surroundings. From fighting disguised as Jaffa to cheating death at the hands of the Dukhang. The new surroundings and people gave him an appreciation for his small planet far away.
Fighting and leading with skill, he has distinguished himself to the New Republic. Which propelled him through the ranks, from a lowly private to Company Commander in 1st Battalion.
