Character Profile

Species: Male Human
Homeworld: Corellia

Description: 6' 4", blue eyes, light brown hair, 193 lbs.

Biography: Jol Allson was born, along with his twin brother, Jor, in the year 16. They were the children of Petar and Kila Allson, who ran a small shipping firm.

When they were both 19, they went their separate ways, Jor joining the Imperial Army and Jol aquiring a YT-2400 light freighter and setting up as a mercenary. Using his innate flying and mechanical skills, Jol soon became well known around Nar Shadda and lost contact with his brother completely.

Soon he found himself shipping guns for the Rebellion under a false name, Michael Antilles, as his brother was a well known Imperial Colonel and Jol thought he would not be accepted.

When, suddenly, Jor contacted Jol, outlining that the Empire was evil and corrupted, Jol asked him to join him in the Rebellion. Jor agreed and Jol set out to meet him on Anoat. Learning of this secret defection, Vice-Admiral Steele, Jor's CO ordered a platoon of stormtroopers to eliminate the brothers.

The mission was botched by the troopers, who killed Jor too early and couldn't find Jol. Jol found his brother, half dead, and swore revenge on the Empire and on Vice-Admiral Steele.

He went back to the Rebellion after the Battle of Endor and served as an engineer. He then joined Rogue Squadron, as their Chief Engineer, 46:1:13. He was promoted to Colonel two months after his assignment.

He was put on trial two years later, when his identity as Jol Allson was discovered. At this time Admiral Daala attacked Bilbringi, where the trial was being held, along with a group of smugglers. Jol helped with the defence of Bilbringi and was given and official pardon.

Retuning to Coruscant, Jol undertook Naval training and his rank was changed to Captain. He returned to Farpoint and took command of the Carrack Cruiser Muse and her task force in the hunt for the smugglers that almost destroyed the Ashleigh.

During the battle of Farpoint, Jol and an Engineering team converted an Interdictor into a flying bomb, which again confirmed his Engineering leadership skills.

After the battle, he was given command of the Kinesis, the ship which was captured during the second Battle of Rheilnor.

He was then demoted for Gross Misconduct and removed from command of the Kinesis, and now commands Finch.

Jol is a crack shot with most gunnery systems as well as being a top engineer. He also has special forces and starfighter training.

His weapon of choice is a DL-44 heavy blaster pistol or a vibroblade. The pistol is kept in a leg holster on his Naval Uniform or a breast/underarm holster while wearing a flight suit for easy access. The vibroblade is kept in a sheath on his right upper arm.
