Description: With a tall and strong physique, Piquo Starr looks the role of the natural athlete that he is. He wears his curly red hair in long ringlets that he often ties back with a hair tie or sweat band. His face is blemished by a scar running from temple to jaw that he received in a fight while fleeing Carida. He keeps the scar as a reminder of the terrible tragedy that caused him to leave his home planet; the murder of his father.
Biography: Pulled from Carida only days before Kyp Durron destroyed it, Piquo Starr, the son of a wealthy shipyard owner, has grown into one of the most capable fighter pilots in Rogue Squadron. As a young boy, Piquo grew up learning about starships of all sizes and uses. Like all boys his age, he fell in love with the fast and agile fighters of the time. As an ignorant and naive young boy, he aspired to go to the Imperial Academy on Carida, but soon changed his wants when he discovered what the Empire actually was. His father always wanted the best for his son, and gave him most of what he wanted. When Piquo's father, Torrence, died during a "freak fire", Piquo learned of his fathers connections to a local group of Imperial resisters who wanted to join the New Republic, but couldn't because of the incredible security the Empire had on the area. Immediately, Piquo decided to flee the planet. As he was entering his Z-95XT he was attacked by a group of stormtroopers. He fought them off and escaped, but during the skirmish, he was wounded on the right side of his face by some sort of blade. He still has a scar running from temple to jaw.
During his time with Rogue Squadron, Piquo has become an excellent marksman with a blaster. He is an especially adept sniper, although his shot with any kind of weapon is very good. He trained under expert marksmen while he grew up on Carida, and then adapted his technique to a more practical fighting style while in Rogue Squadron.
While on a mission with Rogue Squadron, Piquo was shot in the left hand, destroying much of the hand, and rendering the rest useless. This hand has been replaced by a mechanical prosthetic. This prosthetic looks and operates exactly like a normal hand, and without thorough inspection, it is impossible to distinguish it as a prosthetic.
