Biography: Born to a military family, David's father, Michael, served as a pilot for more than 40 years before retiring. Both of David's older brothers followed in his father's footsteps. While he was much more interested in the academic world. He was a disappointment to his father when he showed no interest in the military. His father never would accept him for what he is and they had not spoken since his mother's death.

He served briefly as a researcher on Farpoint, but was one of several researchers killed during the capture of Nemhain.
