Description: Light but lithely built.

Biography: Sylvan joined the New Republic Army directly after graduating from secondary education.

His rock-steady handling of his squad in Alpha Company drew him to the attention of the Battalion Commander and he was invited to join the Battalion Security Platoon as its adjutant.

When Tyvar Jones was promoted and assigned to Battalion Command, Sylvan took command of the Security Platoon.

He was killed during the second battle of Watchpoint Beta.
