Biography: Crane was chief of security on Farpoint at the time Andru Clayton was assaulted, and immediately suspected Corry Vrecken.
A by-the-book officer, Crane clashed with Nick Fel and various other officers when Vrecken escaped, frustrated by their apparent bias towards her and their lacklustre attempts to recapture her.
After being relieved of duty by Fel, Crane left the search party to find Vrecken on his own. He was killed in a stand-off between Rogue Squadron and local guards.
