Biography: While studying at the Coruscant Academy of Space Design, Terther was press-ganged into service to an Imperial engineer. While being transported to a new project with a group of Wookiee slaves, Terther's ship was captured by the Rebel Alliance. Choosing to join the rebellion rather than attempt to return to his studies, Terther specialised in demolitions, using this specialty to destroy what he was once forced to create.

After Endor, he found himself recruited into New Republic Intelligence, working with their special operatives, and eventually joined the elite Ghosts. Mike Burn specifically requested him for Rogue Squadron's new Intelligence division after reading his file and being impressed by what he saw.

Terther was included in Mike Burn's mission to Yaga Minor, one of the few who survived.

He was later asked to take command of the Expeditionary Platoon when it was assimilated into the 3rd Division and become 1N/4 Platoon.
