Description: Young and handsome, lean build, 5' 8" tall. Amber eyes, near-black hair. Faint scarring on both cheeks, left cheek has a faint knife scar and right cheek has an extremely faint shrapnel like scarring pattern.
Biography: Greg Mainer was born into a middle class family on Corellia. His father died while he was young so he never really got a chance to meet him, but many close to his father saw him as a noble leader. His father, Vincent Mainer, served in the Corellian Security Force. He heard his father was struck down in the line of duty. His mother, Rosalyn Mainer, was a clerk at the local bank where Greg would visit everyday after schooling.
As Greg grew up, he saw many changes to his surroundings and he just couldn't continue to let it continue. At the legal age of 18, he joined CorSec, but it was much different to his father's time. It had grown corrupt, and when he was given an order he could not go carry out, he was marked as a traitor. He said his goodbyes to his mother and left Corellia, and quickly picked up a job as a freelance security officer, using his military training in many aspects of every day life. He took up simple jobs, such as security jobs, or once even as a bodyguard.
Recently, Greg was working on security detail abroad a light cruiser when he saw his brethren beating up a child for spitting in their faces. He acted breaking up the beating, and the child learnt not all men were evil. As he moved from the young girl, a man approached Greg with an option for a new opportunity in the Galaxy. Shortly after the invite, Greg had joined Rogue Squadron. In this new company, he rapidly began to grow and adapt proving his worth on his first mission with them.
He was awarded the rank of Corporal after returning to Farpoint and was fully healed from his injuries. Proud to be making a difference in the galaxy in some small yet important way, he fully intends to prove his promotion well founded.
