Biography: Zelby was born to a family with deep rooted traditions of military service. She joined the Imperial Navy and was assigned to the outer rim under Colonel Malphus.
She was taken to the Unknown Regions with Steele's fleet, and inadvertently provided a great amount of assistance to the special ops team sent to track down the traitor Hil'ya. She defected to the New Republic and assisted Thorn in synthesising an anti-virus to counteract the plague. She was sent to Coruscant to undergo NRI debriefing.
Not willing to let her into society knowing what she knew, the New Republic offered her command of the gunship Ikara, based at Nearpoint and later Farpoint. She captained the ship for several years, until its destruction in Kathar's asteroid field, which killed all on board.
