Defense Mechanism
Rogue Squadron launches a mission to secure resources from an asteroid field to build new observation posts to guard against the Dukhang threat.
Several days into the mining operation, the team finds themselves under attack from giant mynocks caused by radiation in the asteroid belt, in addition to other asteroid inhabitants. Eventually, they are forced to abandon the operation with only a fraction of the resources they expected.

Second Stage
Returning from their unsuccessful mining operation, Kinesis abruptly drops out of hyperspace and detects an unauthorised shuttle launch. The shuttle pilot, Skyline Essential, is eventually brought back and arrested.
Various acts of sabotage are discovered around the ship, eventually revealed to be the work of Casie, an engineer on the ship. Her, Essential and David Sinclair are found to have been affected in some way by the asteroid belt, and are both desperate to return, and resort to kidnapping officers to escape.
After taking their prisoners back to the asteroid field and the abandoned Scar, now inhabited by spider-like creatures from the asteroids.
Back onboard Kinesis, Mayina Devaro and Rowan Alt Mere discover incubating mynock larvae in the affected crew members and devise a way to neutralise them.

First Strike
After losing contact with Ashleigh at the construction site of Watchpoint Beta, a force is despatched to investigate. On arrival, Ashleigh is nowhere to be seen and the system is swarming with Dukhang fighters. In a repeat of their previous encounter, the Dukhang trap landing parties on the ground preventing Hunter from escaping.
Ashleigh reappears in the system, battered and under Dukhang control. Unable to recapture the ship, Rogue Squadron is forced to destroy it and abandon the outpost.

Strikeback
Scouts report that the Dukhang have built an outpost on Watchpoint Beta, gaining a foothold dangerously close to Farpoint.
As fleet and ground forces distract the Dukhang, a small team infiltrates their outpost--a captured Goa'uld mothership--to learn what they can about the invaders. Inside they are aided by Ja'ffa slaves, but are captured by a female Dukhang leader who proceeds to torture Corry Vrecken for information. The team escapes captivity and launches the Goa'uld ship, managing to return to Hunter before it is destroyed.
