Failsafe
As the new Mon Calamari cruiser Nautica arrives at Farpoint, Rogue Squadron prepares to launch a mission to the Dukhang's homeworld to hunt for a weapon against them.
Rogue Squadron launches a full assault against Kalaxh, taking heavy losses both in space and on the ground. One group succeeds in their mission, finding their way into a hidden underground facility and discovering a virus capable of wiping out the Dukhang. As they debate the ethics of releasing the virus, a handmaiden freed from brutal captivity releases the plague.
In orbit, the fleet takes heavy damage despite mutinies aboard Dukhang ships as slaves rise against their masters. The Nqei arrive to offer their assistance, in time to see the effects of the virus as the Dukhang are driven to spread the virus.
As the last of them flee the system, it is discovered that the Dukhang children Giselle and Odette have vanished.
