The Defence of Kurava
After battling through motherships over Kurava, Hunter and Ashleigh drop their troops, and the ground force attempts to retake the city.
After Thorn reports Andru Clayton's theory that there may be something of value in the monastery, Nick orders them to join the Fourth Battalion near the mountain and heads to join them himself. Once there they develop a plan to capture the monastery, but it won't be easy--Andru discovers Ja'ffa in the mountain, apparently breaking into a chamber marked by Ancient script.
In orbit, four new Goa'uld ships appear, badly damaging Kinesis. In response, David Sinclair orders his troops to board and attack the ships, one of which is captured.
Nick and Conwy lead the attack on the monastery, quickly breaking through its perimeter, only to be captured by Ba'al--and the clone of Malphus that they encountered several months earlier. They are rescued by November Company, but Ba'al and the clone escape.
In the bowels of the mountain, Thorn discovers the purpose of the Ancient device; it allows a person's spirit to leave their body and be anywhere instantaneously--a powerful tactical tool.
After removing the device, Rogue Squadrons pulls out of Kurava, leaving behind some troops to keep the peace and help rebuild the city.

Imperial Guard
Saki enters the target system and draws attention to itself, leading defenders around the planet's moon, where Kinesis and Muse set an ambush, allowing the rest of the fleet to drop troops unhindered.
After initial success, things start to go wrong. A huge ion storm develops in the atmosphere, cutting off communication with the surface and grounding Wraith Squadron, and a botched attack on a Deity Star Destroyer results in the destruction of Muse. In a moment of anger and remorse, Jol Allson tries to crash Kinesis into the Deity, but is relieved of command before he can manage it.
Meanwhile, Ilexa Thorn and Andru Clayton discover evidence that the ion storm might be artificially generated using a device built by the Ancients. Thorn heads down to the surface to investigate, while the insertion team manages to destroy the shield generator. They know, however, that they can't escape the planet with the ion storm raging, and attempt to reach the base's Stargate.
In space, Ashleigh and Hunter manage to destroy one Deity, which crashes into the orbital docks, and the Calamari Cruiser moves to prevent a Star Destroyer bombarding the surface, while Hunter is ordered to send troops over to the Deity Star Destroyer Reaper.
Onboard Reaper troops including Clayton find a breached containment area. Prototype nanites have escaped into the ship, taking over its systems. They manage to escape shortly before the ship, presumably under nanite control, vanishes into hyperspace.
Even as Thorn destroys the ion storm generator, Moore's insertion team manages to escape through the Stargate.
