Operation Orion's Heart

Mission Leader: Jol Allson

Mission Classification: Theta III Recovery

Mission Transcript: Unavailable

Briefing:
As of 1800 hours yesterday, the New Republic is missing a freighter, the Orion's Heart. It disappeared after it was forced out of hyperspace around Faiyum.

We believe that it has not been captured by the Imperials or the Goa'uld, for two reasons.

Firstly, this ship was carrying new Astromechs for Farpoint, and these droids had already been completely programmed, hence their capture would have prompted and assault on Farpoint.

Secondarily, due to the sensitve nature of its cargo, the ship was carrying two safety devices, a one touch holocomm emergency beacon, and a prototype sensor blocker. We have had no signal from the holocomm.

We're going in on Kinesis under cloak and performing a low level free line drop into an abandoned part of the city.

We find the Orion's Heart or the droids, tractor them up and blast out of there.

Personnel:
Benjamin "Hawkeye" Pierce, David Sinclair, Jol Allson, Nick Fel, Phil Fett

Injuries to Personnel/Equipment:
Phil fainted, he also got concussion.
Straithe got scared of a rat.
Nick landed on Jol's foot.
None of the droids were recovered, all destroyed.

Report:
After I arrived a little late, and we managed to pursuade Straithe to come along, Hawkeye arrived too, so we were six.

After a few nervous comments about the drop, we all landed safely and I ordered Davie to point. Phil discovered the Orion's Heart and we all headed to it.

Hawkeye had to tranq. a couple of kids before he headed in, but other than that, the outside was clear.

After discovering a troop of Scout Troopers, Nick, Straithe and I took them down, and after decoding a datapad, we learned that the astromechs had been found, and the data copied.

Phil found the TIE recon which had the data, and Kinesis tractored it in, before a shuttle full of stormies landed and we set up a trap to take them out.

After commendeering the shuttle, we had to dodge/destroy four TIEs, and in the process Phil smacked his head and fainted at the sight on the blood. Hawkeye woke him up and diagnosed him with a concussion, before teaching him how to count.

We landed the shuttle near the stolen droids and after taking care of some mercs who the imps had sold the droids to, Davie and myself planted a sensor beacon for Kinesis to lock on to to destroy the droids.

We bugged out and returned to the shuttle, before blasting off to Kinesis, which then destroyed the droids. We all signed the shuttle in the carbon scoring and then went off home. Job done.
