Briefing:
After analysis of the information retrieved on our last mission, Intel has been able to ascertain the purpose for the Goa'uld dig on Alpha Centauri. Translation of the scrolls and the tablet images retrieved show the object of their fascination to be none other than the fabled Holy Grail.

After careful analysis of the scrolls and other objects recovered from the raid, our Research department has been able to determine that the Grail does not reside on Alpha Centauri. This conclusion is supported by comprehensive study of the object we retrieved on our first mission to the planet. Reports show it to be some sort of light focusing object: a cross between a lens and a prism. Testing shows that sunlight, passed through the prism at the top, is split into seven colours, but not arrayed in a cohesive pattern. The colours are arrayed, instead in a pattern that could theoretically be overlaid on a DHD.

Since we lack the correct natural conditions to apply it here on Farpoint, a team will have to be sent with a portable reproduction of the device to infiltrate the dig on Alpha Centauri. The reproduction is simply an exact copy of the crystal attached to a miniature power supply. A collapsible pole cut to the exact height of the statue will be provided as well.

The team will be inserted via disguised entry. We will be equipped as labourers and will gate to PX4-432 where we will join a group of Goa'uld diggers scheduled to gate to the planet.

According to the inscriptions on the device itself, the optimal viewing time is at 1100 hours local. It is unknown when the team will arrive on planet, so it is impossible to predict the time we will have in which to accomplish our objective once we're there.

Minimal weaponry will be issued due to this being a covert operation, and the key to success is secrecy. Each member of the team will be issued a sound and flash suppressed Puma 520 Enforcer pistol as well as the usual assortment of knives and vibroblades. If it becomes necessary to fight our way out, we will have to secure Goa'uld staff weapons or zats.

Personnel:
Anton "Viper" Moore, Atomic Death, Bella Blue, Cleo "Red" Shurtz, Corry Vrecken, David Sinclair, Ilexa Thorn, Jol Allson, Miles Fortis, Nick Fel

Injuries to Personnel/Equipment:
Jol Allson - zatted and smacked upside the head with the back end of a staff weapon, hopefully concussed.

Report:
After a lively permission beat down on Jol we got rear ends robed up and into the gate room. Nick and Atomic got to dress up as Jaffa for the occasion and Nick led us 'slaves' through the gate to P4X-432.

Once there we were herded in amongst the other "slaves" while our Jaffa guards dialled up the address for Alpha Centauri. Once again, we were herded back through the stargate.

Upon exit, we moved into the group of labourers who were scheduled to go dig near the foundation of the old statue we blew down on our first mission to the planet. We retrieved our digging tools and everyone moved into position, pretending to do the labour that they were supposed to be doing. Thorn was dispatched to round up those of the workers who were willing to attempt an escape.

Slipping away from the main body, I made my way down near the base of the old statue with the device. With help from our Jaffa-disguised members, I dispatched one of the real Jaffa who went snooping just a bit too close for comfort while Davie set up the holovideo recorder. I assembled the device and got it situated in time, and Davie managed to capture the image on the recording unit.

I was caught disassembling the unit and we were forced to fight our way back to the gate. With assistance from our hidden band of workers and our two friendly neighbourhood Jaffa, we managed to deal with most of the Jaffa, but reinforcements forced us to run back through the gate under fire.

Many of the workers were brought back with us, and Jol caught a zat blast trying to bring one back. Nick also took a hit, but luckily his armour deflected most all of the blast.

Other than that, the rest of us returned unscathed. Efforts are currently underway to relocate the liberated slaves and intel is currently reviewing the footage from the recording unit.
